Launched out of The University of Chicago, we focus on gut microbiome health from diagnostics to applied therapeutics.
The Problem: There is no health screening tool available to measure the health of the gut microbiome despite it being one of our largest and most vital organs.
We develop first-in-kind diagnostic/management tools that quantitatively assess the health of the gut microbiome and can pinpoint imbalances for targeted corrective interventions. No such tool currently exists. Commonly used proxies like Metagenomics and 16S rRNA profiling provide no functional information, are not quantitative, vary among individuals, and cannot define gut microbiota health.
Our quantitative marker panels are developed from AI-supervised mass spectroscopy data of clinical samples to create normal ranges and trajectory profiles that can diagnosis and manage dysbiosis. In diagnosing dysbiosis, our tool pinpoints the problem, develops evidence-based interventional strategies, and repairs the dysbiosis through precision management.
